Who is with Me
Today Jesus is encouraging me to walk with him through life. I am to be with Jesus and I am to gather with Jesus. These words made me think during the morning meditation. That is why I will try to answer the following questions: How am I united with Jesus? When and whom do I gather with Him?
If I want to act as a missionary of the divine Word, I must be united with the Lord. Therefore, I often focus on the daily readings and celebrate the Holy Eucharist. When I meditate on the Word, God begins to speak with me. When I pray the Liturgy of the Hours, I hear the voice of God who reminds me not to worry too much. Since I depend on the grace and mercy of God all the time. Furthermore, while I receive the Holy Communion, I have everything what I need. In this way I get the food for eternal life and receive strength to overcome fears, doubts and all the problems. Moreover, I am able to accept what God has prepared for me. I know that He blesses me from the very beginning of my life.
When and whom do I gather with Jesus? Firstly, all the people whom I meet such as family members, priests, teachers, colleagues, friends, and neighbors. I walk my way and I stop for a short conversation with the headmaster, I say greetings to classmate, I also ask my neighbors how her life is going. Yes, these are the best opportunities to gather with Jesus all those people. They need Jesus Christ as their Lord and Master.
In the evening, I am going to say the rosary with the parish community. There will be lots of people who want to pray this beautiful prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Then, some of them will take part in the celebration of the Eucharist in the church which is dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene in Międzybrodzie Bialskie. Thus, we will draw closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary.
It only depends on me how close I will come to Jesus today. Will I touch his hand and invite him to my heart? Will I make the effort to go with him and to gather the scattered people for Kingdom of God?
