Kingdom of God
"If I cast out demons by the power of God, then indeed the Kingdom of God has come to you" (Luke 11:20). From this verse two questions appeared in my mind: Why Jesus does not say that he casts out demons with his own power even though he and his Father are one? What is the relationship between Jesus, his Father and the presence of the Kingdom of God?
When we find out the answers, we start to understand Jesus' identity as the Son of God. Humility is the fundament of his mission. Jesus always relies on his Father because his mission was from God, in the name of the Father and for the glory of God.
Humility opens enough space for God's presence. When God is present, it is clear that the Kingdom of God is among us. Humility wins over human pride.
