Happy Birthday
Every year we celebrate our birthday. But there is also a special birthday. This year I am 40 years old. I was born in Poland 40 years ago . For the first time I celebrated my special birthday in Indonesia.
In Yogyakarta I lived in the SVD community. There were many friends who studied Indonesian at the university. Last Friday afternoon I met with the brothers and fathers at the SVD Mission House We ate pizza together. Saturday afternoon there was a meeting with my new friends from the University Sanata Dharma. We met at 12:00 at Little Wish Restaurant. We talked a lot while eating and drinking. We enjoyed very much and played cards. In addition there was a birthday cake with four small candles. I had to spray all the candles on in one blow. I made a dream to get a work permit in Indonesia.
On Sunday afternoon the SSpS sisters visited me with some gifts. In the evening I talked with my family via internet. I also answered to friends who sent me wishes.
I really enjoyed a birthday party. First time in a new country, with new friends, but it was very pleasant. I hope that all the prayers will soon come true.
