Building communion in the SSpS congregation
We have experienced the change of year. Now we are in the New Year 2019. For some people, including me, time feels rolling so fast. Solid activities and encounters, the swift flow of information and various daily activities color our life's journey. May it all help us to direct our hearts to God and find its meaning.
Learning from the Magi from the East who faithfully followed the lead of the star, looking for where the Savior was born in the end they reached their destination. In this day and age we also need to hone our hearts to stay sensitive to what really leads us to our ultimate goal. We need to persevere in seeking, dare to stop and spend time in silence to reflect on our life's journey in the light of God's Word.
As a congregation / community throughout 2018 the SSpS sisters were led to expand the circle of love in building communion with other people of different faiths, cultures, ages, groups, and so on.
In 2019 the focus of the journey of the SSpS congregation is communion with our Congregation. We realize that as a religious woman, missionary servant of the Holy Spirit, we need to continually refresh and renew communion with the SSpS community. Experience teaches that unity with the sisters and the Holy Spirit enables us to carry out God's mission according to the needs of the times. The bond of spirituality that is built together in the Holy Spirit, confirms our vocation and mission as a community / congregation.
Hopefully, the communion of love with the congregation will make more people experience the love of the merciful Triune God.
