Fr. Józef Trzebuniak, SVD - born on October 5, 1979 in Międzybrodzie Bialskie (Beskid Żywiecki/southern Poland). In 1998, after passing the high school final exam in Bielsko-Biała, he joined the Society of Divine Word. After 6 years of study at the Mission Seminary in Pieniężno, in 2006 at the University of Warmia and Mazury he defended his master's thesis, the subject was: Theological dimension of silence based on autobiographies and selected writings of Tomasz Meron. Then he began studies in Classics at the Catholic University of Lublin, which he completed with obtaining the title of bachelor in 2011 (subject of the work: "Hierarchy of values based on the "Thoughts of Mark Aurelius"). In 2012, he undertook specialist studies in the field of patrology at the Faculty of Theology. He prepared a doctoral dissertation under the direction of dr hab. Leszek Misiarczyk (UKSW) at the Faculty of Theology (University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn). On May 10, 2017 he defended his doctoral thesis "Participation in the divine Logos according to the Greek Fathers of the Church of the second century". In 2018 he received a missionary destiny to work at the Divine Word Seminary in Flores (Indonesia).
