The people of Dadawea, Golewa District, celebrated 50 years of gratitude for the founding of the village. This celebration took place in the yard of the chapel of St. Paul Dadawea, on Sunday - January 5, 2020. I was also invited with other priests to say mass during this celebration. There was also a choir from the village which prepared songs for the golden jubilee.
Father Feliks Baghi, SVD in his sermon said that God was truly loyal to the Dadawea community. For that reason, the faithful should also be trustful in their daily life.
The thanksgiving in Dadawea was closed with lunch and tratisional dances (Jai) together. Despite the rain, the people of village rejoiced, danced and sang at the chapel of St. Paulus.
Prayers of SVD
May the darkness of sin
and the night of unbelief vanish before the light of the Word
and the Spirit of grace
and may the Heart of Jesus live
in the hearts of all people.
(Saint Arnold Janssen)
